Does the GDPR Compliance have a soft delete option or a recycle bin?

In Zendesk, when you delete end users, they are soft deleted — meaning they’re removed from active view but not permanently erased immediately. Instead, they are placed in a 30-day deletion queue before being permanently removed. During this period, they can still be restored if needed.
To view these soft deleted users, go to Admin Center > People > Deleted Users in Zendesk.
Does the app have a recycle bin for contacts?
No, the GDPR Compliance app does not include a traditional recycle bin.
However, when users are deleted in Zendesk, they are moved to a 30-day soft delete list. In the GDPR Compliance app, you can access a dedicated Deleted Users tab, where you can permanently delete them before the automatic removal process. Or, after 30 days, Zendesk will inevitably erase them, ensuring sensitive data is fully removed in line with data privacy regulations.
