Is here a limit of tickets that can be created in one go

Yes, there are some limits to how many tickets can be created. Still, the limit depends on the chosen pricing plan. If you have purchased the Lite plan the limit will be 1000 emails per campaign. But, for the Pro plan, the count is unlimited so you can run campaigns without a limited amount of emails.

Note: the more tickets you create, the longer it will take to complete the campaign.
