Which data is anonymized in GDPR Compliance

To comply with the GDPR guidelines, the data anonymization process in our plugin includes such data:

  • Requester’s First, Last, Middle Names;
  • Requester’s Phone number;
  • Requester’s Email;
  • The whole Email comments (for Tickets lists anonymization and for Contact lists anonymization if enabled "Yes, remove all comments and recreate tickets with different IDs");
  • Credit cards numbers (if mentioned in the Email Body);
  • Custom fields;
  • Inline Images.

If needed, you can also go to the Settings page >  Preferences > Anonymizing and check all the fields mentioned there for Ticket anonymization:

If you want to remove ticket comments, you can also enable "Yes, remove all comments and recreate tickets with different IDs", however, it is worth saying that system recreates tickets with different IDs. If you disabled this option and you launch the process for the user list, the credit cards numbers and inline images will be anonymized.

Also, select what to anonymize in Contacts and enable or disable attachment deletion. If you enable the "Yes, delete attachments" the system will delete images from tickets.
