How to import users with a CSV file in Proactive Campaigns

Proactive Campaigns have the ability to import CSV files, which are available during the process of creating campaigns. But there are some aspects you should take into account before you upload a CSV file. We think it would be best to overview the process of importing user files in Proactive Campaigns:

  1. To create a mass email campaign, go to Proactive Campaigns > Choose Campaigns tab > click Create Campaign button;
  2. After taking the first step in the campaign you created, you will need to select a contact list. Click Next and go to Select contact list;
  3. There, you will have three options: Select from existing contact lists, select a ticket list, or import a CSV file. Go to the Import users list tab:

Then drag-and-drop or click the + button to select your CSV file. Make sure you include these column names in your file: Name, Email, Organization Name, Alias, Details, Notes, Phone, Time Zone.

Note: All words in column names must be in uppercase. If there is an error in your CSV file, the campaign will not be created.

You can download our sample CSV file below the import button to compare with your data and make sure everything is correct in your file.

Afterward, go to the Email tab and continue setting up the Campaign.
